The Unisex Beauty Revolution
We partnered with an emerging skincare and cosmetics startup to develop their brand from the ground up, starting with naming and extending through comprehensive visual identity. For this Thailand-based beauty brand entering a competitive market, we created "Lød" (pronounced "luhd") – a name embodying the brand's core values of simplicity, inclusivity, and authenticity.
Our design approach focused on creating a visual system that would appeal to all genders and skin types, featuring a sophisticated neutral palette. The clean typography and minimalist packaging design reflect the brand's commitment to effortless beauty solutions for busy, modern lives. The brand identity positions Lød as a trustworthy companion in personal care, offering multifunctional products like lip balms and foundation sticks that deliver high performance without unnecessary complexity.
The visual identity system we developed includes versatile logo applications, packaging templates, and brand guidelines that will support Lød's expansion beyond Thailand into other Asian markets. The result is a sophisticated, understated aesthetic that stands out in the beauty industry by rejecting gendered marketing in favor of inclusive, straightforward elegance that appeals to increasingly conscious consumers who value both quality and simplicity in their beauty routines.
